Conversational AI Tool in Augmented Reality

Recommended Posts

I have a working simulation that uses the Conversational AI and works perfectly when using a microphone and/or text entry in a web browser or VR headset(Quest 2). However, in the Settings when I select the Simulation Type as Augmented Reality, the AI no longer responds to verbal commands within the VR headset. I can see the Closed Captions of what I am saying, but the character will not progress or ask me any of the questions per its prompt. The web browser version still works fine when the Augmented Reality option is selected. I was not sure if this is a bug, just something I am doing incorrectly, or a function that is not supported in AR.

Thanks,

Jason~

Hi Jason, just a quick thing to check. In your simulation, is there a Display Message of any kind?

For Augmented Reality we support all types of devices which includes those that are "hands free" so for AR the microphone control exists on the Display Message panel with a microphone on it that you can either select with the controller or by gazing at it. Please add a Display Message to your simulation if it isn't already and confirm if that resolves the issue.
